| 6:13 pm | At the Aquarium Today, Daddy took me to the Seattle Aquarium. It was a lot of fun. I saw a giant octopus, an electric eel, some cool birds, and lots and lots of fish! Daddy carried me a lot so I could see, but I ran around exploring by myself every chance I could get. After we left the Aquarium, we had fish & chips next store, and after lunch we shared an ice cream cone! :-) |

| 12:17 pm | Today I'm having fun hanging out with Daddy at home. I played some nice songs on the piano, and now I'm playing outside. After carefully watering each of the plants with the watering can just like Mommy does, I go into my new log house and check to make sure the windows are still working correctly, opening and closing them. |

| 5:16 pm | Fun at Kindermusik Daddy took me to Kindermusik this morning. It was a lot of fun. Sometimes when I go to Kindermusik, I act a little shy, especially if I"m tired. But not today! Today, I was singing along and running around and dancing and playing instruments. I had lots of fun and it was over before I knew it! |

| 10:23 pm | Another haircut for me Today, Daddy and I went to McDonald's for a Happy Meal. Then I went and got a haircut at a place called Lil' Klippers. I wish I could say that I had fun, but I was pretty scared and was crying, even though they had a lot of toys. I was happy to see Daddy when he came and picked me up. After a bath and an afternoon nap, my friends Toni and Mio came over to play and eat dinner. I got to show Mio my new house in the backyard. We had a lot of fun, and they thought my haircut looked good. |

| 10:01 am | New house for me! Yesterday, I got an early birthday present from Mommy, Daddy, and Oma. It's my very own log house. Thank you Oma! My Uncle Brian helped Daddy put it together yesterday in my backyard. Thank you Uncle Brian! I have lots of fun in it. It is brown, with a green roof, red door, and orange window shades all around. I especially like opening and closing the windows :-) |

| 1:40 pm | I've been enjoying the beautiful, sunny weather here for the last couple days. On Tuesday, I went with Mommy and my friends to the zoo. Then Daddy, Mommy, and I got lunch and went to the park. Today, I'm just playing outside in the sun. |

| 11:21 pm | Happy Easter! I had a fun time celebrating Easter today. After church, I went to my friend Mio's house for my first Easter egg hunt! It was a lot of fun. After that, I went to my Grandpa's house for dinner. Grandpa got me a big stuffed pig that's also a chair! Happy Easter everyone! |

| 10:53 pm | I got to go to Grandma Kathy's tonight while Mommy and Daddy went to a church service. I had lots of fun reading books with her, playing games, and coloring. I like to hang out with Grandma. |

| 3:46 pm | I went to KinderMusik this morning with Daddy. I usually go with Mommy, so this was kind of special. I listened to music, did some dancing, and played some bells. I like being able to spend time with Daddy at home. I think he likes it too. |

| 12:20 pm | I'm sorry it's been such a long time since I've posted! What can I say? I've been up to a lot. I started walking in January. I've learned to say lots and lots of new words. Reading books is one of my favorite things to do. I also like to dance to music and watch the birds and squirrels play in the backyard. Daddy put up my backyard playset that Oma gave me. I got really sick with the flu for a while, but now I'm feeling much better and back to my usual, happy self. I'll try to say hello more often from now on! |

| 11:28 pm | New pictures are here As promised, my Daddy posted a bunch of new pictures. They go back as far as the beginning of July when I went to the zoo with Daddy, Grandpa, Uncle Jordan, and Aunt Megan. Then there are about 10 pictures of me at our family reunion in July. Then there are some pictures of me when my cousin Roarke came to visit me at Oma's. Finally, there are some pictures of me hanging around the house, and from today when I took my medicine. | 9:00 pm | Pictures of me takin' my medicine like a big boy!! Yesterday I had to take a trip to the hospital. It started Saturday night when I kept waking up with a cough that made me cry. It wasn't any fun at all. The next day I just felt worse and worse. I had a really high temperature and was so sleepy. Anyway, the doctor listened to me breathe over the phone and decided I should go to the hospital right away. I don't remember much after that. I was really out of it. Later at the hospital they gave me some respiratory therapy to help me breathe more easily. I was feeling much better in no time at all. I'm home now, and Daddy helps give me the breathing medicine four times a day. I don't really like having that mask on my face, but I know it helps, so I just try to be brave until it's over. I'm feeling much better today. The doctor decided that I just have a cold virus and that hopefully my breathing problems are just temporary. |
| 8:52 pm | My time with cousin Roarke! Tonight my Daddy is going to put up some pictures of me and my cousin Roarke. He and my Auntie Laurie came out for a visit last month. The first week we stayed at Oma's house in Vancouver. We played from morning until night. Roarke was just learning to walk, and I was just starting to crawl. Sometimes Roarke can be a little bit rough with me but I can handle it. One morning I had just got up and was still trying to even wake up and Roarke threw a toy right smack at my face. What a way to wake up :) !! Just wait till I see him next time, I'll be running around too! |

| 8:31 pm | Crawling right along I'm so sorry that I haven't been keeping everybody up to date. I've just been so busy exploring the world around me. I finally figured out how to get around without the help of my mommy:) I've been crawling for about a month now and a couple of weeks ago I also figured out how to grab onto something and pull myself up. Now I'm all over the house. Everybody warned mommy that once I took off she'd have her hands full but she actually says that I'm getting easier every day...(wait till I start running!!) Opps, I gotta go, it's way past my bedtime. Goodnight:) |

| 5:40 pm | Little Drummer Boy Did I mention my new passion for playing the drums. Boy, I could play them all day. I have two nice drums and two xzylaphones and my new piano player from Grandpa Doug. I guess my neighbor upstairs liked my drumming so much that he was even asking mommy about it. Oh ya, did I mention my collection of drumsticks? Oma says that when I'm older she'll buy me a whole set of drums to play on, I can hardly wait until then! |
| 5:35 pm | New Photos of Me!! If you don't believe me, just click on "recent photos" and see for yourselves. That's me at my birthday party. I'm eatin my cake, opening presents with my buddy Mio and even having a bath. Oh ya, that last one is me at my first swim lesson playing on a noodle. I hope you enjoy my photos. | 9:52 am | Not feelin so good again :( I guess I must have played a little too hard at my birthday party cause since then I've been feelin kinda sick. I started running a fever that night and was pretty tired all day yesterday. Mommy found me tossin and turnin again last night and sure enough my temp was around 103 degrees. So Mommy woke up Daddy and they put that darn grape Tylenol in my mouth again. I must admit, I do like the taste, just not at 3 a.m.. I spent the rest of the night camped out on Mommies tummy, it was pretty cozy:) I sure hope I feel better soon, it's no fun being sick. |

| 3:07 am | My first swimming lesson. I had my very first swimming lesson. My Mommy took me and my buddy Mio came with his Mommy. We got to play with noodles and little kick boards and then later the teacher tried to teach us how the blow bubbles in the water. Mommy picked it up pretty quickly. but I was smiling so much that my mouth kept filling up with water. Later we sang songs like "The Wheels on the Bus" and "The Hokey Pokey". I had a fun time. In fact I've already had my second lesson and this time my Daddy took me and Mio's Daddy took him. And you know what, it was just as fun as the first time!! I bet you I'll be swimming around in no time :) |
| 2:53 am | My Birthday Party!!! Wow!! What a day I had. It was my very first birthday today!! It was so much fun. Mommy and her friend Beth made lots of food, put up balloons, and even made me two big ice cream cakes. Lots of people came to help me celebrate. I even got to try chocolate today. I smeared that cake everywhere and then Daddy gave me a bath because it was even in my hair. My buddy Mio was here to help me open all of my great gifts! We especially like the musical toy that grandma and grandpa Stephens got me. We opened it yesterday and have been playing with it all the time. I got plenty of other neat things too! Grandma Kathy and grandpa Jim bought me a great little chair built for two. Mio and I fit perfectly in it. I got another great musical toy from Grandpa Herb, he knows how much I love to play the drums and stuff. My Oma was here too!! She came up today and brought me a really neat Peter Rabbit toy that tells me a story when I squeeze it's ear. Uncle Brian and Dana bought me a great outfit with shorts and a tank top that make me look like a little basketball player. It should be cool for the summer heat. Megan and Jordan got me a special miniature Mickey Mouse tricycle and Shana and Brian got me the coolest pool. Jordan helped blow it up already so I can try it out tomorrow. It's been super hot here! Mommy's friend Beth made me a book with all sorts of fun photos in it. It made mommy cry she liked it so much. I had such a good time. I can't wait to play with all of my new toys again tomorrow. And for those of you who just couldn't be here, Daddy promises to have pictures up really soon.... I promise :) Oh ya, I also got lots of gifts from all of the out-of-towners too! Thanks everybody for celebrating with me, it's been a great year! |

| 9:19 pm | I'm so excited for my upcoming birthday party !! I know it will be lots of fun because I got a preview of what it's all about at my buddy Noah's party on Saturday. Noah turned one. He had lots of family and friends there and he got some pretty cool toys. He even let me play with a few of them. But the best part was the icecream cake!! They put me and Noah on a blanket in the middle of the room and fed us the cake. Noah had it in his hair and even between his toes. Later they gave him a quick bath because he was such a mess. I can't wait for my party. Mom says that we can have icecream cake too!! And all my friends will be there. Mommy and Daddy can hardly believe that I'm going to be a year old already. They say it's been the best year of their lives, and I agree :) |
